wow !!! a gambler for 60.000.00

Just clicked on the fisrt link for the 60K gambler. No where on that cue does it say mucci.

I'm almost positive it's one of those $30 Harvard cues.

Shot Coordinator?

I'm just curious, he states that "St. Louis" Louis was the shot coordinator for "The Color of Money".

I always thought it was Mike Sigel?

Does anybody know for sure, before I Google it?

gambler cue

I do have a original Gambler cue from the VERY FIRST MEUCCI CATALOG. and this cue is not even close to mine...it was called " MO-12 "IN THE 1ST CATALOG, AND I HAD IT CUSTOM MADE FOR ME BACK THEN= $ 350.00- $ 400.00 back then when they made Cues in a small cinder block building at the very beginning. The newer ones, the black ebony is now BLACK PLASTIC !!
If you want any information about Meucci cues, get in touch with : Mike Erwin...he made mostly everything from the start of Meucci: Erwin Cues..... 662-562-9009. If you are a fan, let Mike make you a cue...still the old fashioned way...all by hand, and they play like the Meucci cues from the good early years. Right before Bob turned his business over to his kids for the 1 st time....I sat down with Bob and made a 1 of a kind cue that you will never see made anywhere. 1st 6 point cue Meucci ever made and most likely the only one. It has 4 floating Pool Tables in the sleeve and balls above and below the Pool Tables with matching ball colors to make all 16 balls. It also has, 4 pieces of inlaid chalk above the wrap. It has Black with red speck irish linen on now, back then Bob put a white cream colored linen on and sprayed over. Above the chalk inlays, their is a red veneer line ( total of 6 of them in the butt section ) 6 brown stained Birdseye points into an Ebony forearm. The color of the stain in the points match the colors below the joint and for all 4 shafts. The Butt is 31 1/2 and the shafts are 29 1/8 . The Butt and shaft together weigh close to 23 oz. I played with the cue app. 4 hours and then put in in my collection case. Possibility can be sold for the right price and maybe my Gambler cue from the very " FIRST " Catalog, YOU CAN CALL MIKE ERWIN ABOUT ANYTHING IN THIS MEMO. IF YOU LIKE THE FIRST AND EARLY MEUCCI CUES, YOU WILL LIKE THESE 2 CUES AND ALL OF THE CUES BY MIKE ERWIN CUES. HE MAKES BY HAND ONLY, STILL TO THIS DAY. MOST 99 per cent of all of Mikes Cues are 1 of a kind. 662-562-9009 interested in either of my original cues can send me an EMAIL : dukesqstopinpa@aol.com..... They might be available since I am going through a divorce and going out on the road playing again. Isn't that funny how a divorce always leads to a ressurection of going back to playing Tournaments again ? ONE MORE THING....MIKE HAS THE VERY 1ST CATALOG THAT MEUCCI EVER PUT OUT.....I HAVE SEEN IT, so he can verify mostly anything about a Meucci. I STILL HAVE THE EARLY MEUCCI BANNER, SINCE I WAS A MEUCCI DEALER FOR 15 YEARS.

1 thing more about Meucci Cues

I was a Meucci dealer for over 15 years, and I have never seen a peice of Ivory on a stock Meucci...Maybe the 1 he made for Jim Rempe WITH THE ELEPHANTS, CANT SPELL IT...THE T....MAHAL ( NOT CORRECT SPELLING AND TOO TIRED TO LOOK IT UP. worth 10K, that I think went over the ocean.......Mike Erwin is the Best Meucci source, maybe even better then Bob Himself....662-562-9009......he can provide all of Meucci parts to restore to brand new condition....nobody that I know can do that.......maybe Bob with all of the new " PLASTIC FOREARMS AND INLAYS"......i WARN YOU, BEWARE OF WHAT YOU ARE ACTUALLY BUYING, ESPECIALLY ON EBAY.............OR BE CAREFUL OF MANY " PLASTIC INLAYS IN MANY CUES. .............tell him: Duke sent you......I don't get a penny for advertising Mikes Products, but you will get the best product from him...............he will do it right, because this is how he raises his family, and he will guarantee his work. Now is the time to get on board with his cues, while they are still being sold way under valued, ask anyone that owns an Erwin Cue...don't take my word for it...

Mike Sigel was indeed the technical advisor for "The Color of Money". I guess that could also be referred to as "shot coordinator".

Really !!!!!!!!!!!

It's only a Meucci. For half that price it had better be an actual original Crown Jewel (Rempe model), which has real ivory, unused/unplayed. And don't forget your change!!!!!!!!!

This guy is straight up honest. I don't know him and have nothing to gain by saying so. This cinder block building he refers to was on Getwell Blvd. and it is where Bob first started producing cues. I know this because I installed his alarm system for Wells Fargo and helped his electrician with some wiring of various equipment......Dan
