WOW does this cue look familiar

Not to turn this into something geo-political or racial (I'm a pretty laid back kinda guy) but "oriental" is used to describe objects, like furniture and rugs. "Asian" is the term for people like me, LOL.

Now I personally don't condone all the pirated crap that comes out of Asia, hell I work for my local Dept of Consumer Affairs. But you want to know what the funny thing is? Most of that crap is bought up by Americans. I live in NYC's Chinatown and its chock full of pirated goodies and all the tourists from outta state and the burbs buy bags of that junk. Go figure.

TAP! TAP! TAP!

The cue I linked comes from the Philippines FWIW.

While I'm at it I have a few Q's?

1-Do cuemakers copyright their designs?

1A-If not why not. I know it won't stop overseas pirates but it would give some recourse about the sale here.

2-How many cuemakers today are making a nice buck with Bushka knockoffs?

in what way? because he/she takes a cue with a wait time that they have in hand and mark it up? isnt that what you do? :)

No because he is making the cue sound handmade by someone named Jarvis whereas I don't see anything too misleading in the other website.

Yeah..,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,when some oriental gentlemen started taking pictures of some cues. Leonard came close to committing mayhem and I think Joe was not far behind him. It's a shame to have your creativity turned to crap in some factory in China. "Anti-CNC hardhat", LMFAO! Joe you're killing me!

this is why i no longer post images of my cues,,,and have deleted the ones i have posted before. there are too many fakes of my cues' creator's work.

Man, did you nail that one! TAP! TAP! TAP!

My wife went to New York a few months ago and came back with a bunch of fake Coach handbags and Gucci stuff. I am STILL giving her a ration of shit over that one. I don't think she'll do it again.......she fell victim to the "Wow! That stuff looks real and look how cheap it is!" thing and didn't realize that by buying that crap she's supporting the piracy (as well as committing a crime). When I was in Hong Kong, and Bangkok, it was absolutely unreal the pirated stuff you could buy...Rolexes (very convincing copies), whatever you wanted....it's sick.
