So about a week ago I get this PM,

"Hello. Please pm me your name and mailing address. I would like to donate a little bit to the boys and girls club. I live in the Philippines, but I am planning to order some stuff online from Seybert's and have it shipped directly to you. Thanks"

This Member-Thunder Thighs, saw my post about the Pool needs of the Phoenix Area Boys, and Girls Club, well today I go to the post office, and a GROSS Of Master Blue is there waiting for me.

WOW.
...Got to give this member from the Philippines a lots of GREENIES

Greenies

I sent him some green a couple of weeks ago for a different reason and I though he was a good guy then.
Now I'm glad I did it, very nice gesture.

Rep to both of you

hey cowboy...

sometimes i am sri to say you make my mind wonder about you...

but i have never felt that it was unbearable, just that i would have done it differently... not that i am right [different strokes for different folks, that's all].

your caring for others is exemplary, and i respect you for your kindness and thoughts for others.

pm me your info and i will be happy to send a gift for your boys/girls club.

all the best and thanks for your caring,
smokey

I sent you a PM.

Honestly the Boy Club as it was called in 1954 was the place I started playing Pool, I had a great time, and it was one of the things I missed most when we moved out west to LA from Miami.

Now we have Boys, and Girls Clubs but the clubs serve the same purpose, they give kid a safe place to come & have fun, the membership is reasonable to the point most parents can afford the $30.00 annual membership. Plus most of the kids I would say are from what i would call wealthy famalies.

Talk to a COP and they will tell you the Boys, and Girls Clubs keep kids busy, safe, and the kids stay out of trouble.

This project started with some pool balls that our community pool room retired, I called the Boys, and Girls Clubs and ask if they need pool Balls.

When I delivered the Pool Balls, saw the Boys, and Girls Clubs had a needs as they operate mostly from donations. I put out the word, friends, and AZB Members have help with what I became the Engineer of. Like an Engineer on a Train, but my TRAIN or cause would have gone no where with out the people who have sent me things. That was the fuel that make the Train run.

Guess I am give back to the Boy Club as I like to call it because it gave me a start play pool, that has been going on over 55 YEARS, and some great memories.

coco...

give Rocket254 a pm.

he was my hero in las vegas for the boys/girls clubs here.

he is a great guy. he is also a teacher in UNLV. he is also a great pool player.

fats and jay h. were also givers to the local boys/girls clubs here.

other famous players also gave exhibitions for the kids here from fats.

for sure it is a worthy cause.

happy to be of a little help - good for my soul.

all the best,
smokey

Ahh So, you dont know about "stroke developers", this set you practice and play until you push them around like regular centennial ball set.
Maybe 2 month before you get the idea, LOOK, I have contact few people that are billiard industry aquainted, CarlsCues, BilliardWarehouse, and 3 other billiard salesmen from eBay.
Maybe they help and maybe not? won't know anything until they join in.
Also, contact Amazon book shop for billiard related material, all we can do now is hope they become involve.
