CueTable Help

I have been working on my kick shots(More specifically kick safes..but it transfers to any type of kicking really). It really paid off for me yesterday. I made this kick shot...NO big deal really for me...BUT, then I hook myself again (behind the 7). Kick the 4 into the bottom corner pocket 2 rails(top short rail and before the side pocket on the long rail. Get hooked on the six. Kick at the five ball and if it were not for our crooked ass tables it would have went in...I also almost got the carom on the 6(just hung up in the pocket). I will count it as 3 in a row lol.

That's good! I have a hard time with speed control on banks. I think if you hit if harder it won't bank as much and vise versa right? If I happen to make a bank I have no control on where the cue ball goes after that and it usually gets snookered behind like 3 balls. :o

When I started going to bigger tournaments I realized that kicking is hardly luck. I have been getting better in this aspect as well, exciting isn't it :D

When a ball is hit harder into the rail, due to the compression
of the rail, the ball comes off at shorter angle. Except of course
for a perpendicular hit. Some folks get used to, and have more
success hitting bank shots firmer because of this, as it is more
predictable to them. Another side effect, is that the cue ball,
on a center hit, will not pick up forward roll, and thus will
not induce backspin on the object ball, which will also affect
the angle it comes off the cushion.
