Hey Jenn,

I just finished reading your blog on the WPBA site. What makes you think you need to get back in the gym? You do AZB,WPBA,your site, travel and promotion for Olhausen, dog hunting, your daily practice, etc. etc. You weren't comparing yourself to "THAT" woman in the airport were you? She's anorexic.
Concentrate on practice.... I think YOUR BOD will take care of itself. ;)

No, it wasn't Heidi. It was just a random thought brought on by spending nearly 20 hours sitting on my a**. Also, working out gives me the energy to do all of those other things you mentioned.

Jenn,

Next time you're in the gym do an extra set for me and next time I go out drinking I'll hoist one or two for you.....deal? :D
Are you going to be a regular contributor on the wpba thingy? I read the Van Buren and Paski posts during the last tournament,it was interesting.

Deal. As far as the blogs, I think they are running each player for a few months eventually giving everyone who wants to do it a chance.

Working out definitely can give you lots of energy. I need to start working out again. If only I could motivate myself. I'm not really into working out in gyms. However, I have spent some time in the gym in the past. I do like to rollerblade though. Rollerblading is pretty good exercise.

:) :) :) :)

Because I can see me in them! Ok...that one might just outcheese Pelican's. Did I get the punchline right?
Ok, so you've heard it before, LMAO! Yep you got it right.

Nice one, Pel. Now I'll have an answer when interviewers ask me what the cheesiest pickup line I've ever heard is!
Best I've heard is "Excuse me? How do you like your eggs in the morning?"

Standard reply is " Unfertilized."

I had this one cat exchange the following words with me while I was zoned out watching a match:

Guy: "Excuse me, do you believe in love at first sight?"
Me: "I guess, why?"
Guy: "Well, you didn't notice me walk by you the first time so can I walk by you again?"

What the? LOL

Jenn,
I look forward to reading more of them.I hope you do a pre-tourney,tourney and post-tourney blog like Van Buren did.
If you want to stop the cheesy pick-up lines just post a pic of "Muscles Magurk" in competition. ;)

Scott,
Yeah the midnight cowboy just don't get it. I start to read his posts and go into a coma.So how long do you think John"iwannabeakennedy"Kerry has been posting on AZB? :D

And allow comments...blogs are supposed to have and NEED comment availability, IMO.

Hi All,

I will definitely start doing pre/post tournament thoughts on my blog. As far as the comments, the WPBA asks that we don't allow them. That may change in the future, but for now you can direct the comments here.

One thing I'd be very insterested in seeing Pros do is match "post-mortems" where they talk us through the match from their point of view. Not every single shot of course, but give us an idea of your shot choices, which worked and which did not, any particular changes you made to your break as the match progressed etc.

gk...I post a couple of paragraphs about my week on the home page of my site, but I probably won't add a blog there.

AD...Wow, I would have done that, but I didn't want to bore everyone to tears! I'll give it a try after Peoria.
