Ok i first thought of this a few weeks back when i read about Xiaoting Pan just rolling over opponents at a Womens stop. Not sure if it was Hunter or Jacoby or what.

But i started to think with Pan, Chen, Kim, all comming from the Far East, i wonder if this is going to be a similar movement like the men have going with guys comming from the Far East countries.

Now these girls have some serious game, and could easily take over the top spots on the womens tour.

Plus you have other girls like Tiffany Nelson who seems to be comming into her own, along with regular top contenders like Karen Corr, Gerda, Julie Kelly, and Kelly Fisher who i can see as a top 5 finisher in almost every tournament.

But yes i think its about time we get a new #1 womens player, i am seriously rooting for Xiaoting Pan.

You have mentioned several ladies that are capable of winning on the WPBA tour. But for overall consistancy, which is what it takes to be number one, I still think Allison, Kelly, and Karen are the three most likely to fill the number one spot.

I dunno

2006 is gonna be an interesting time in womens billiards for sure. would love to see Allison hold on to title, but the competition is getting better.
with Pan on arrival, things are gonna change, rooting for her too.
i wanna see Monica get her first title as well.
and Kelly is off to a good start...QuickFire

Monica Webb

I predict that Monica Webb will win a title this year. She has improved so much this past year. She came in 3rd at the Viking event at The Pool Room in Duluth last month. She was beating everybody, even Cliff Joyner.

Go Monica.

I also predict that we will have a new #1 rank player this year on the WPBA Tour.
