WPBA players in IPT

I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question. I have been out of the loop for the last 6 months.

The WPBA Midwest Classic starts this Thursday the 27th (I will be there). What will happen to the WPBA members who also play in the IPT? Will IPT give them an exemption for this tourney and let them come back for the next one?

Those players are already in Las Vegas.

I found the other threads where this was discussed. Hopefully no conflict ensues. You, of all people Mr. vagabond, surely understand how we Republicans despise conflict :D

Did I forget to tell u that I left the Republican party few years ago and became an Independant. Now I can sling mud both on `Asses` & `elephants`.By the way look for the TV broadcast of these matches on OLN.

OLN...it's a cable channel.
By the way...good to see you back Wally. It's been me and ed against the world over on the ccb-npr.

I was wondering about this myself, I think there is potentially a big mess here. I am assuming that if any of the WPBA players make it past Thursday they will miss some or all of the Peoria event? I am really curious to see what they will choose to do?

If they get that far in the IPT event, they will have already won more than they could win taking 1st place in the WPBA stop. I don't think it would be much of a decision.

I would agree but they also have their rankings to consider and there might be fines imposed. Though I am sure they must have worked out something with the WPBA already?

The players in the IPT event have already been given permission to miss the player's meeting. The WPBA is working with them. I don't think it would be in the best interest of the WPBA to punish half of their top 10 players. Also, the ladies that are in Vegas are all the top ranked players on the WPBA. I don't think it would be a big problem if someone went from 3rd to 5th...they are going to find their way back to the top again.
