Her career match record vs Allison can't be very good, as is the case with most WPBA players except for a very few, so to beat Allison by that score, Vivian must have played awesome! She also beat Allison in the hot seat match.

When glancing at the top 24 finishers in this event, I can't help but comment that the depth of quality players in the WPBA, and the number of players capable of winning any single event is so slim compared to any major mens tournament. I see many of the same names in the field that I saw 20+ years ago, and I can't imagine they have improved their games significantly. The purse winnings for the top finishing players in WPBA events are also roughly half of what they were 20 years ago - very sad. However, despite how few tournaments they now have, at least they do still have a tour.

Also, curious as to why I didn't see Karen Corr, Jasmine Ouschan or Kelly Fisher in the field for this event, if anyone knows? - Thanks

They haven't had a Tour in a number of years now.

Despite many titles and great charisma that always drew positive attention to her sport, Vivian is inexplicably not a member of the BCA Hall of Fame. Among those eligible for induction in the player category, only the all-time-great Niels Feijen is a more ridiculous omission.

I'd certainly have to agree. Particularly when considering Jeanette Lee and Ewa Mataya Laurance are both BCA HOF members. I would hazard a guess that Vivian has more career WPBA tour wins than either of those two, and Vivian certainly has more wins than either of those two has post 1996 - which is roughly when Allison and Karen started playing on the tour and dominating. She is one of the very few players that has never appeared intimidated when she comes up against Allison or Karen, and if you ask either of them, I bet they'd say Vivian is one of the players they respect the most.
