Hal, I am not into the earthtones either. But I seen this cue in person. I loved it. I am not a fan of green on cues either but this cue looks good. The black w/ white doesnt fit this cue. I would say antique white with eithe brown or green spec. Like I said this is not a cue I would normally like but this thing is sweet. As far is resale value. I dont know. This SW is unique I think you would do fine. Hope this helps.

I would go with cork or smooth black leather. (willie hoppe smooth) I think it would look very good on that cue. I am about over black lizard, every decent cue seems to have one anymore. It has gone from wow to wow, not again with me. lol.
