Can any of you cue makers out there tell me what is the depth of a wrap groove.

I normally cut mine at .35 for leather or .025 for linen.

Wrap grooves should be cut based solely on the thickness of the wrap material. Linen usually is between 0.022-0.25" as Chris said but other materials need to be measured for thickness. Snakeskins can be thin to thick, stingray can vary also, leathers for stack wrapping can too. Always measure twice (at least) and cut once. Try to get an average thickness for the material.
