Hey guys i put my first wrap on my first cue the other day and after pressing it and steam drying it i noticed you cant tell the difference between the different loops of string? is it possible that i almost melted the linen together and applied way to much pressue when i steam dried it? Thanks Joel

re:wrap melted

i just redid three cues, wrapping them in irish linen from atlas, black with white specks. after the wraps was done. i let everything dry- a day or so and then wetted one of them down pretty well. i then took a hot iron-with NO steam setting and procedded to iron the wrap. i did get it pressed down pretty good except that in places it is a bit shiny. i must not have put as much pressure as you may have.

Sounds like you pressed it perfect. That is the effect many want. If you don't like it that flat back off on pressure and length of pressing time.
