Wondering If anyone has a source to get just the leather wrap template from? Just looking for the template with the ends cut correctly to see If I would like using one. I don't need a kit or anything, just the template that has the centering holes.
Thanks Greg

Thanks Bud, I Knew about the kit Brianna has, but was'nt aware Prather had them. Curious which is priced better, and if they have the curves cut into the ends though? I don't need any instructional, or any kit, just the template It'self.
Thanks Again, Greg

Thanks,

I'll check into them.

Anything and everything pool related is expensive. That template kit consists of a ruler, knife and template for around 75.00. take away the "kit" and the template will probably be about 70.00.

Thanks, and yes that's for sure, not much that comes cheap. Think I remember reading where someone mentioned prather before at around that price, now That I've had My coffee & can think straight:D That's pretty much what I gathered, just did'nt know If there was a cheaper source I was'nt aware of. I really don't want to try finding that radius, and centering them out, so I'll probably just buy one as opposed to trying to make My own. The thing is the ends can be cut without it, so I'm not sure If It will make life that much easier for me to warrant the price or not. Seems as if it might though. It would be nice to cut the ends with the wrap blank off the cue.

Thanks For the info, Greg

Wrap jig

It is $50. from Deangelo, and he is the one who invented it. All the other ones are just copies of the original. I would rather see the inventor get the business than those who are just making knock offs.

That price is alittle more acceptable, and I have the DVD, so know his has the radius on the ends. I did'nt realize he sold them without the jig though. You would'nt happen to have his contact info By any chance would You?

Thanks, Greg

make one it's easy

If you have autocad use the link below to download trial software that will due the trick.Change your screen to white. All lines in the program do not show up on black. A wrap is nothing more than a cut cone. You can also do it the hard way. Find an old drafting text book see unfolded sheet metal views. With these you can use the actual diameter of the cue not someone else's.

Thanks, I thought about trying to make My own, but someone had an extra one, and was kind enough to send It to me, so It worked out well. It has the radius cut on both ends to match the cone.

Templates

It seems that a couple out there are nothing more than the templates and a razor. I've seen the DeAngelo and it looks really nice. I know Blud is coming out with one also (hopefully soon). Does anyone know if his will be a full wrap fixture type like the DeAngelo or something inbetween? Thanks!

You guys should check out the Unique Products version. They just released one that is the nuts. Better than the DAngelo imo. I bought it at the expo. $400.

Email bswank@iquest.net for info or to buy.
