Wrapless cues

Is there more work involved or cost in making a wrapless cue compared to one with a wrap. I noticed a few production cues that had wrap/wrapless options and the wrapless one was more.

It's more because the handle are usually some exotic wood.

Wraps cover an otherwise bare wood.

yep, pretty wood = big $$$$. wrapless will almost always be more money.
