I have a wrapless Leon Sly player from 2009 up for sale. It has been used by me for the past few years and I am the original owner of this magnificent cue. I commissioned Leon to make me another shaft about a year and a half ago and he did a fantastic job. Leon told me what this cue would sell for today and I am asking much less than that on this deal.
Condition is really very good. When Leon made the second shaft he also refinished the cue and did a wonderful job. I have not had a ton of time to play so it has been used maybe 10 times after that. It has a couple of very small imperfections in the finish from small bumps made by me but they are sooooo hard to see and to photograph. The link I will provide has numerous pics so you can see how good this cue looks.
I had both shafts cleaned and re tipped with just lepro tips prior to taking pics and I will hold back all urges to play with this before I send it out to you.
Specs are about 18.5 oz with either shaft with the option to add 1 or 2 of the 1 oz included weight bolts in the butt of the cue.
Butt of the Cue is made from a beautiful Birds Eye Maple and Madagascar Ebony complete with South West styled rings with white highlights. The Maple is highly figured and the Ebony is very dark so the figure is harder to see. It has a high gloss finish that is truly amazing. He also installed a brass 3/8 10 pin.
Shaft one (original) is just a hair under 12.5mm with a longer taper that goes back about 8" until it starts to widen. Played with this one much more than the newer one and has a little bit of blued residue. This one has a yellow micarta ferrule I believe but I will try and confirm this with Leon.
Shaft two (newer one) is just under 13mm with a more standard taper that starts to widen at about 2" from the base of the ferrule made of Leon's standard material. The ring work is a little nicer on this one and it lines up well with the butt.
Here is a link with over 100 pictures I took yesterday of this cue.

There is also included some joint protectors I had a guy on ebay make for me. They are definitely not the greatest and don't match all that well but still do their job. The protector for the butt doesn't screw all the way down either.
