I sold this cue here along with several other Schons a few months ago.
This one got by far the most interest. I contacted Schon about getting
more. What I found out is they are turning this into a regular model.
So I can get it now, but it will say Schon in the butt cap instead of
Schon SP. PM me or email me if you are interested.

Hey Mike,

Any word from Schon as to how many were produced in the "SP" line? Just a curiousity question as to the "collectablilty" of the previously labeled SP cues...

According to Schon's tags they were 19.25, 19.5 and 19.75 as shown from top to bottom. I haven't weighed them myself. I can usually add up to an oz because they usually ship them with aluminum weight bolts installed.
 
I thought SP stood for "spliced points", but it is obviously not the case. I guess they are just another line in the Schon catalog? Is there anything that sets these apart from other Schons in a manner similar to LTD, Uniques, and Elites? Just curious. Very pretty cue by the way.
