I don't think you can go wrong with the Wrap Magic Fixture.
If you so a search for the wrap fixtures, you'll get a lot of information from the forums. Different people prefer the different fixtures, but I don't remember hearing anything completely negative about any of them.
Since you're looking at doing leather wraps, I'll mention that there are a few other sellers:
Brianna sells a kit, but has no fixture for securing the workpiece. He uses a DiAngelo in his video if I remember correctly.
Brianna's link is
http://briannaproducts.com/leather.htm
In Brianna's leather wrap video he discusses putting the wrap on without a fixture.
I have a DiAngelo, but they're no longer manufactured.
Chris Hightower has a leather fixture that you can use if you own a Hightower lathe (in addition to your Porper).

The fixture is not a necessity, but it really helps out. You would need some sort of kit- like Hightower's or Brianna's. If you don't have the fixture, you'll tie up your lathe while you're doing the wrap. Most people like being able to do the wrap without tying up their machinery.
Oh yeah- the instructional videos are very helpful.
Hope this helps and Good luck
