Just wondering if anyone here has had any wrist problems in the past or present from playing pool . The reason I ask is since Tuesday I've had pain in my wrist that just came unexpectedly so I just wanted to know if anyone can realate , it's only in my right wrist my cue arm and I don't think that at 27 I would have tendenitis.

Can't say I can remember if I did...

:)

but a little more info. may help you get a response. Which arm.. cue or bridge... how old are you?

May be some kind of tendenitis.... I did have that back when I was younger and playing a lot of fooseball... but it didn't carry over into my pool.

Breaking could put some real stress on your wrist.. but other than that I can't see much stress.

It's my Cue Arm and I'm 27

Well....

that rules out age related things...

I would try and isolate it. See if it's from breaking.... just play straight pool for a few days or weeks if that's possible and see if it improves. If it doesn't... must be the way you hold your cue. That would probably fall into one of those tendenitis/arthritis areas that are difficult to remedy, but at least you would have some better info to give a doctor to find some physical therapy that may help.

Quite possible that it's not even pool related... may be carpal tunnel from your keyboard and it's showing up in your most used arm..... maybe try to change that up somehow. It is amazing how some weird little thing, like how your computer station is set up, can cause nagging pain. But take it from an older guy who has gone through plenty of nagging pains... LOL

Sorry....I'm not much help. Good luck in finding the cause and cure.
