I'm looking for these three taps. I know what atlas and brianna want for them. I just thought someone on here might have some good used ones cheaper....thanks:thumbup:

your better off buying new i bought one used 3/8x11 and it was horribly dull and i saved maybe 25% and ended up buying a new one, so a 25% savings turned into a 75% waste of money and 100% waste of time, just buy new you wont spend that much more and youll be happy with what you get.

I wholeheartedly agree. These taps are needed to do repair or building so if a used one was any good why is the seller willing to sell it and buy himself a new one.

Prathercue.com has good taps.... specifically made for cue making..... just bite the bullet and buy new. They are the type of tool that is worth investing in..... it will last you for a good while...... You can also go to msc and wttoo.com and get some cheaper ones.....

Msc might have 5/16x18 ,Dont think they would carry the sizes hes looking for

you guys are right......I give....so I checked out tavers(the only one I hadn't checked before) and they list the 5/16 14 in three types....taper(most common),,,,plug, and bottoming....any opinions on which would be best for cue work...mainly cue building and joint protectors????

Well their prices have increased considerably. I would get the tapering and bottoming or if just one then the plug.
