Ok, I have a Mezz Cue that is back in Japan due to an issue with a mis-alignment of the shaft and the butt. In the mean time I had purchased an original 2nd catalog Palmer E cue that I have been using as my shooting cue. Never having used a vintage cue, and compared to my new Mezz, I really like the way the Palmer hit.
I am not sure when I am getting the Mezz back from Japan due to the earthquake and worried about ruining the Palmer, can someone recommend another cue similar to the Palmer. I am still an amateur so I do not know much about deflection, soft/hard hit, etc but still looking for a great playable cue. I have been looking at Titlists conversion as it is similar to my Palmer, but I also like the 4 point cues with multiple colored veneers.
Knowing a little more about cues than when I bought the Mezz, I would prefer a custom cue versus a production cue.
I can spend between $400-$700. If this is unrealistic, please let me know. Send me pictures if you want.
thanks
