I am looking for 2 to 3 high quality used/NOS/like new:
These shafts are for an older gentleman, that is a friend of mine, who is computer challenged (doesn't own one or know how to operate one) and his shafts have been penciled at the ferrule and are reverse tapered because of years of sanding on them - they look like snooker shafts! Anyways, looking for
5/16-14 silver ring shafts with the older brown linen based black collars that are .500"-.520" tall/wide
silver ring should be .045" to .050" ---- .040" is too small and .055" is too big.
Joint should be a minimum diameter of .835"
insert/nipple .525" or smaller diameter - would like to see some wood under the sides of the insert and not a flush mounted insert.
prefer a matched set of 2 or 3
dead straight or with a very small amount of run out
ferrules and tips don't matter for the most part
vintage kiln dried shafts at his request are given preference....
