Heya everyone. Just got my registration to come through for posting threads and replies...so no better way to get started than begin begging right away!!! Long story short, I had an old PB6 Palmer Custom cue awhile back, and for reasons as yet to be fully understood, I sold it (although pure, unadultered stupidity does spring to mind as a major factor:( ). That being the case, I've been searching for another one for awhile now...but haven't had any luck.

Anyone out there know where I can find one for a reasonable price? I've been talking with TATE about it, and have come to the realization that a decent Palmer of that era/design will run me around 400-500 (ish).

Any info or direction you could steer me in would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much in advance, and I'll see ya'll around the posts!

The hunt....

Hey ya'll,

Thanks much to everyone who's either responded or sent me a PM. Of note, the one on E-bay (with three shafts...Model 3, 3rd Catalog), isn't the cue I'm hunting for. Basically, a cue much like the Rubino in this thread would be great...if it had a wrap. Now I'm hunting through sites, trying to find the best guy to go to for putting a wrap on this cue! Gorgeous, by the way, Chris.

Anyhoo...the best way I can describe the EXACT cue I want would be a Palmer PB5, PB6, or PB7....or VERY similiar to it. Full splice construction, Titlist type veneers and such, playing weight, and linen wrap. One or two shafts...either is fine.

I would go so far as to say an good titlist conversion cue...but for what I can afford to pay for another cue, I might as well be asking for a Szamboti!!!!

If ya'll happen to know of one, or where I could look, please keep me posted.

Thanks a ton!
