Hey Guys i bought a playing cue off of this forum from one of our neighbors and now i find myself needing a break cue. Now what i want is a two piece break cue(not a J/B) and it cannot have a phenolic tip(phenolic ferrule w/ separate tip O.K.). I just want it to hit solid with control over the cueball. Please post pics with description and please no JJ or Keiser. I would just like it for around $150 shipped.(I live in Saint Louis)

I just tried a warped players with a White Diamond tip on it. That thing rocked. I tried the same cue before the White Diamond tip and I would have considered it good fire wood. The tip breaks great and makes it very easy to control the rock. Buy a cheap break cue and put a White Diamond on it and save a little cash. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Mcdermott stinger cue with super hard laminated leather j/b tip

I can sell a McDermott Stinger NG01 with the upgraded super hard j/b leather tip for $150 delivered. I am an authorized dealer. Lifetime warranty. They hit very nicely, APA legal. Done with Paypal so you're covered. PM me if interested.

Steven-I just purchased the McDermott "Stinger" from Master9baller. It has the Samsara Hard Tip which is legal in all league play. The tip is the hardest leather tip on the market.

I have owned practically every break cue on the market, and none hit better than the Stinger. If you've got $150 to spend for a break cue (even though it does break down for jumping), you will get your money's worth, believe me.

Master9baller is a straight up guy and will take care of you. Give it a try. If you don't like it for any reason, you can sell it in heartbeat for what you paid for it.

why not increase your amount to spend a little bit and buy a brand new poison vx2.9 jump/break. they are really nice and only go for about 180. if you want something from mcdermott, go with master9baller. he has some really good deals.

in reference to Juniors post

i have an excellent condition Players break jump with the White Diamond tip. the tip was put on 4 years ago and has not changed. the technician that installed it took 3 days and did a special epoxy bond as he had experiences of them flying off. this cue breaks them great and the cue ball goes where i want it to. people look at it and dont think it even has a tip on it. i have even played full on racks with it. if interested let me know, i can let it go, for a very fair offer.

I would agree that a White Diamond Tip is a great tip, however, it is NOT a leather tip, and is outlawed by several leagues. There is nothing on the market as of yet that compares with the Samsara (leather) break tip. McDermott has paired with the gent from Jericho, who installs and does his thing with the McDermott "Stinger".

I just saw something from Benfica regarding a Tiger jump/break tip. I know nothing about them, but aside from that, I swear by the SAMSARA.

While they are NOT cheap, they are worth every penny.
