I am looking to purchase a carom cue for playing 3-c. Im not looking for anything special, just want to quit beating up my pool cues.
 
All of that 3 cushion play in Mi got you want a carom !! Two Question Price Range other than cheap and joint type?
 
Yeah, that was alot of great streaming from steve and curly. I talked to a few of the players ther and they all said you can get more spin with carom cues than pool cues...i like to spin the ball...alot..

As far as price goes yeah i dont want to spend a ton and to be honest dont need much.

Idc about joint...wood to wood would be cool but not needed.
 
new or use carom cue? ProfessorQBall [Paul Frankel] have Have carom cue see his website $178.00 range Custom CueMaker CrownCue are making carom start at $285 both use 3/8 x 10 metal pin, Mazin website have some wooden thread cue . And course there Dieckman. good luck enjoy the game of 3c
 
Chuck Starkey, KB Hustler or Paul Allers....

I've got a very nice Starkey wooden pin cue....not sure exactly what a "Carom" cue specs should be :o

My recollection (getting older though) that these cues tend to be lighter in weight!? I've got a Hustler cue that I recently completed that weighs in close to 17 oz with a 3/8-10 pin, wood to wood joint that might be an option.

Another thought would be to contact Paul Allers [ pcallers@comcast.net ] here in Oak Harbor, WA.....Paul makes some really great custom cues and, last I knew he had a few really nice Ash handled cues around 17 oz or, perhaps he can make something to your own specs!?

I would check out Ron Kilby I've heard nothing but good about his cues. I am in the process of ordering a SP pool cue from him myself great guy to talk to very knowledgeable.

Carom Cue

I have a nice Schuler SLC 181 cue with a Carom shaft and a regular pool shaft. I would take $475 for it.

He was the distributor of Gabriels 3 cushion cues.
