what I'm looking for is a custom 2 piece sneaky pete made by better-known cue-makers. weight around 19oz if possible, and cue MUST be straight. reply here w/ pic if possible and tell me what you may have. I'm not looking for cheaply made cues so please don't reply with this sort of thing. my interests are: andy gilbert, leonard bludworth, tim scruggs, richard harris, jim buss, doug bourque, chester crick, espiritu, paul fanelli, mike gulyassy, keith josey, prather depending on price, showcase cues, mike stacey, woodworth, ed young, zeiler cues, hell...I may even consider a pat diveney w/ butterflies. just let me know what you have guys. I'd like to span out my cue collection, but want better cues...know what I mean? these are the basic cues of a cue-maker, and what better way to get acquainted w/ a cue maker not by you? nobody around here has anything like these cues, so I can't try them first so also give me opinions as to who you'd recommend. thanks guys, Jeff Duke:confused: :D :D :)

I have a friend who has two "extremely nice" looking Bludworth SP's....they are brand spankin new :cool: If your'e interested in seeing them let me know -- the price is $375 or $400. ;)

Runscott has/had a TS Sneaky with a linen wrap on it a couple days ago. It was posted on this forum on Saturday, i think. Check it out...sounded like a great cue at a great price.

thanks guys! thanks for the replies, but I have come to dis-like irish linen which is why only leather or wood handles will do, and if it's going to be a TS sneaky pete, I want one with the buttcap on it. I should have specified earlier, but didn't think of it. anyone else have anything within my criteria?

thanks Shorty! thanks for all who private messaged me over this. "cueaddicts" is supposed to contact me about what they have left of "andy gilbert" cues after the "DCC". we'll see if they really do! does he make an "ebony" wood sneaky pete" that's what I really want.
 
I have Willee sneaky for $225 + shipping

This cue was made using aged RoseWood and Maple from an old house cue.
Joint bands and Butt cap is black micarta.
There are four Maple inlays making the Rosewood points look like spear heads.

Hey Duke....if I were you...I would get this one. Definitely best deal I have seen! That Gilbert will sell for around 300-350 I believe. Jazz is awesome to do business with by the way.

thanks for the "heads-up" shorty. I'll keep it in mind definitely. I want to check my options, but so far it's a definite winner if it's straight.
 
Sorry Duke .. someone just paid up for Klein cue today. Still have Willee sneaky available.

I have a Ernie Martinez custom made jump/break cue that certainly meets your critiria, and more. I put it up on this forum a while ago and got a lot of interest but no buyers and then I forgot about it, until your post. It's been stored away in a case ever since...still original straight condition. I believe you would be very happy with it's playability (plays like one of ernie's custom cues, not a sneaky), condition, look & feel, not to mention that it is very collectable-only 2-3 made of these with the dark old looking rosewood handle & only 4-5 made in total.

Mike Stacey makes a great sneaky pete - they pop up on ebay every now and then, greatly reduced.

PM'ed you. Let me know. We don't have any real low-end cues....the ones we have are around $800+. Andy hasn't made many true sneakies. You mainly see his jump-breaks, which play awesome too. He could probably build you one with ebony points (his V-cut points, not a conversion) for around $375 or so. Let me know if you want his #.
