Well, you can wait til I croak and see if my son's have an auction. I don't have the rods but I do have a couple of boxes full of old ringwork for both shafts and butts. I bought out an old cuemaker about 25 years ago who'd bought out Nationals shop where he worked doing cue repairs until they decided to close the cue shop and strictly import their stuff. National had bought out all the old stock and equipment from Brunswicks factory when they closed up in Cincinnati about 100 years ago. I still have some of the old ebony spliced shaft blanks and a bunch of small ivory and buckhorn ferrules as well as a variety of old ringwork and cue parts from way back. I probably shouldn't have told you this because I'm not really interested in selling the stuff. I do some reconditioning of old cues from time to time and it comes in handy and ain't eating anything. I also have a bunch of the old nylon wraps, some of which is striped. It comes off the spool in different colors so you have stripes about an inch wide in the wrap. I do have a few feet of the clear tubing that's 1.25 OD and about .95 ID which I've used to repair old Palmers & Paradise cues. I've been storing and moving the stuff so long that if I were to sell any I'd probably want more than anyone would be willing to pay anyway.

did ya find what yer lookin fer ?

Hey Scott,

I found these already installed on an old cue with a busted forearm. I'd be happy to part the buttsleeve off if you'd like the material. It is a swirly-orange that I don't have in raw stock. The 2 rings are .750 each x 1.29'' min OD.

Let me know,
~Beau

Hello Beau,
Beautiful stuff....yes, I would like the whole butt sleeve.

I now make my own glitter rings from scratch and they have turned out surprising well.

I am going to make another batch this weekend that I will use in a couple of cues I am currently building.

Thanks for the post.

Until that time,
Scott
