WTB: Good condition meucci

I'm in the market for a good condition meucci. I will be honest I'm looking for a good price on one. There are plenty on ebay or new ones that sell for 30% off MSRP and I know the cue selling market is weak AND a lot of people dislike meuccis. I currently use a gambler 2 but just am wanting something different in the 300 price range. I'll pay shipping as well. I may pay more if it really catches my eye or is really unique.

If you have a meucci that you're not using and you want to get rid of please post. I currently have a bid of 300 on a meucci SS-15 on ebay but seems no matter how high I bid it wont hit the reserve lol and I dont want to pay 450 for it.

Only requirement other than it being straight and all that is I want it to be a finished wrap like factory meuccis. I dont like the feel of irish linen in my hand.

Thanks.

I actually still shoot with a red dot and like it. So I'm considering keeping with the red dot and then buying an OB-1 since it's getting all the hype and try it out. Plus I reviewed the construction and other reviews quite a bit and I'm interested in it.

But I still like the red dot meucci hit. I've not tried the black dot. I've heard a lot of bad things about it although many people dislike meuccis. Had a guy last night compliment mine and follow it up with how he dislikes how whippy they are :)

edit: nice cue :) (just looked after I posted this)

I have a Meucci 3d cue that i would like to sell..

it has a red dot shaft wich i believe it straight.. i would need to roll it first..

its brand new never used.. only problem, is that there was a joint protector that had a tiny bur on the inside put on it and it flatened out the edge on the joint just below the pin and gave it a tiny lip.. any cue repairment should be able to sand it off perfect.. but i never sent it to anybody to have it fixed since it was forsale..

here is a pic of it.. i will try and get a closeup of the joint..

anyways.. i am asking $340 shipped priority insured...

I also have this one for $350 shipped priority..

its a 333 series cue.. and is imaculate condition, its slightly used.. but has been stored in a collection since 1993....

as you can see on the forearm it was signed by Jim Rempe in 93...

this has a predot shaft..

weight sticker is still on the bottom and it weighs 20oz..

looks like its made out of purple heart and the joint is made the right way, its sleeved around the purple heart..

if you or anybody ineterested in it.. lemme know..

Those are nice cues indeed. So far though I'm fairly certain I'm going to go with Bill's Road Agent Meucci originals. It was higher than I was wanting to spend but I'm liking it a lot.

Hopefully the next cue I buy will be the last cue I ever shoot with and if it's lasted that long and is straight it should last another 20 years. :)

Nah never liked sneakies. It has to be 'purdy' :P

LMFAO and it has to be purdy straight to lolgood luck finding a purdy meucii cue that is straight to lol.

Ah there's plenty of straight nice looking meucci's out there :) I actually play with one right now... and actually played with it from 1998-2001 and then end of 2006 till now and it's still straight as an arrow.

it's not the arrow, it's the Indian anyhow...I have a Meucci Power Piston 2 that I won a VNEA State Championship with so (start at the beginning again)

I have a Meucci Hi-PRO III with a red dot shaft if you are interested. It shoots well and is straight, $225 shipped. If I were making a suggesttion though, I would get a used Schon instead. I own a schon, Meucci, McDermott, Scruggs, Joss, and a Wayne Holmes on order. The Schon is the one I play with because it has the best snap and control. If you have never played with one, then go that direction instead of buying another Muecci.

I played with a schon twice and loved it both times. It's actually the only other cue besides a meucci I truly liked so that's a great suggestion.

I really am fond of meuccis though. The one I have now is older (early 90's) and hits great and then I shot with someones newer diamond dot meucci and didnt like it at all. It just didnt feel right. I'm going to go test drive the originals road agent from bill this saturday and pick it up if it's consistent which as most originals are I'm sure it'll be great. Pretty convenient he doesnt live too far from me :D. If by some strange event it doesnt work out I'll still be looking :) I hope it works out though. I want to use an older cue rather than see people keep them in a case forever.
