I need an 18" piece of Koa. Looking for nice figure but not tiger striped/curly. Thanks

What do you mean by Nice Gigured but not tiger Striped/curly?
I thought they all have Tiger striped/curly:confused:
 
I should have been more specific. I'm looking for something unique, possibly a crotch piece.

I don't think all Koa is curly as you can find some with fairly plain grain. But the nicer figured pieces certainly are all curly that I have seen.
 
Samples:

The first shows common highly figured Koa. The others are closer to what I'm looking for. Is there a name for it?

I would call that quilted which is in the same family as curly. but is hard to find even in maple.

That is a feather crotch (not quilt).Don't know how often you find it in Koa but with all the curl you see I would imagine you can find it. Contacting one of the Koa suppliers in Hawaii would be the easiest way to find out or to purchase. Expect to pay a bunch.
