WTB: McDermott D26

Like the title says, I'm looking for an original McDermott D26. I grew up playing in the late 80's and always wanted one but couldn't afford it at the time.

The main thing I'm looking for is a butt in reasonable condition that is dead straight. Not worried about the condition of the shaft(s) as I plan to have new shafts made for it.

I am not interested in the M65c retro version.

i lost one in a move 20 years aho, i bought another one that played 100X better at the DCC 4 years ago and it was stole, had one shaft slight wobble, didnt matter played so good, i'm so pissed off, i paid $300 at Derby for that cue, i know who nicked it, too. let me know if ou see 2 forsale.

Call Edison Billiards in Edison, Ohio. The no. is 419 946-2956, I think. Ask for Scott Taylor. I was over there and they had 2 or 3 D26's. Some guy passed away, and they had his collection for sale a while back. I had one and traded it, and a fancy old Mieucci for a Southwest. It was my first really nice cue. I can relate.
