WTB: Mcdermott, Star, lucky cue

Wing

The Wingman
Really need help out with this one you guys.

My lady's Birthday is fast approaching and she wants a cue of her own. Shes quite good and id like to buy her something decent. Not looking to pay a ton of money as shes not an advanced player.
I prefer McDermott products, but im open to others.
Also, anything with colored points or stain is nice, Shes not much of a girly girl, but she wants some sort of dimension.

i may also be interested in just a butt if its nice, as she already has a shaft shes accustomed to.

Preferably new, possibly used if its in >7 out of 10 condition.

Thanks in advance!

Check out my thread about the st7a I have for sale... I would sell just the butt if you didn't want the z2 shaft lmk

Hey guys, thanks for all the responses!
Still haven't found exactly what im looking for. I suppose i should have specified that im looking for a cue with 3/8-10 joint as well.

So Bump for more cues!

You're lucky to have your lady involved in a hobby you love as well. I have a OB Cues j-line model 408. Have been very happy with it as a every day player. The inlay and wood choices are very nice and the build quality for a ~$500 cue has been well above expectations (better than my friends McDermott).

Now i'm onto searching for the right custom cue maker to build my first designed cue.

Spanky,Thanks for the option, but the only 2 im interested in is the red wrap-less and, ironically, its a no for me because there is no wrap. The other is the Mcdermott with the green wrap. Love it, but was looking for more of 100-150 price range.
ElLeon, It is a wonderful thing to have a lady who shoots like a champ. Gives us a nice pastime to enjoy together. Sounds like those cues could be worth a look, i personally play a McDermott but have been wanting to switch cues for a while now.
Shes already got an i2 shaft, so im mainly looking for a good butt with some type of interesting point layout.Even if its a sub par shaft, id mainly be buying for the butt. Its just difficult to find something new-ish but used....haha sounds funny that way.
Hopefully something pops up soon or im going to have to rethink this bday gift.

In my closet cleaning thread the blueish McDermott lucky is just awesome

And its priced to sell
