Ok first lets say no put down. I am looking for a paticular stick. If you go back old school they had the 97-23 that had pool balls on it. Now the one that I am looking for has nine balls racks on it. I can not find the thing anywhere on the internet.

Only reason I am looking is because it is what my friend taught me to play with. So now I am in regret that I did not try to buy it from him.

thanks

chris

Hook Q

Hi. I have looked thru my collection and the only ones I saw with a 9 ball rack is the Hook Q. There is the old Meucci Originals MS series and then one from the 95 series. Here is a link to the MS 2. This series is from the '80s:

It is the MS 2 and has Meucci Originals written in block letters on the butt cap.

Then there is a newer one 95-16/M9 that has Meucci written in script on the cap.

They are the only Meucci Qs that I c with a 9 ball rack on them. The rack has a (fish) hook inside it. At one time this Q was a part of Meucci's Mike Seigel series as he was known for "hooking" the Q ball on his opponent. The older Meucci Originals generally go for around 400 on ebay and the newer ones that say Meucci go for 300-325.

no it neither of those two. It has almost similar color to a 97-23. now the big thing is I am wondering what in the world happenned to it on the Books and stuff. I know I remember looking at it many times thinging of buying it. At the time I think it was either 480 or 580 can not remember!!!

Meucci Pro Billiards Tour 4

OK, then the Q u are looking for is the Meucci Pro Billiards Tour 4, or PBT-4. I collect the old Meucci Originals from the 70s and 80s, not the newer Qs that just say Meucci. As I have been told, back in the 70/80s most top players and pro players used Meucci Qs. Then around 1989 Meucci made some changes including goint to name Meucci written in script. Suddenly the top players stopped using Meucci Qs. They claim the hit was not the same. I do not have a link to a pic of the PBT-4, but it has a similiar appearance to the 97-23. They come up on ebay every so often, but it was not a part of any major Meucci series. So, they are seldom seen. If u wish, when I find one on e, I'll put a post here.

The only other Q with something that resembles a 9 ball rack is the Meucci 333-1. Here is a link

i think there may be another one besides the hook cue and this one in this pic.. cant remember for sure.. i will keep looking though..

that is the 9723...

95-21 is similar but not it. I am thinking it was a variation of it or something or maybe it was a PBT cue special can not find pictures of those!!!
