Hi all,

If you've been following my latest threads, you'll know that I sold off my cue collection, and just came into a really nice Blue Grass cue to keep the pool demons at bay.

With my collection sell-off, I also sold off all but one of my cases...which leaves me with one tan vinyl Porper case. GREAT for storage in the closet, but hideous to carry out. It's a 3x6 anyway...so a touch too bulky to haul around, too.

To this end, I want to get a really nice (but tasteful) 2x4 case. Nothing SUPER flashy....but REALLY nice. I figure if I'm only gonna use one to head out with...I want it to be as nice as the cue I'm gonna play with.

If you've got a nice 2x4 to sell, please hit me up with pics and specs. I don't have a huge budget...but I'm willing to pay for quality.

Small clarification...

...I guess I should clarify a bit.....

The kind of case I'm wanting will fall into 1 of 2 categories.....

1. Justis or Murnak - type
2. Whitten - type

I'm not a huge fan of the Vincitorre (sp?) style cowboy cases.....nor of the Guisseppe or "Pro-style" specials on E-bay.

When I say "nice case".....I mean a NICE cue case.

My apologies for being kinda vague in my first post.

hey mark, chrisonline had some real nice 2x4 leather cases that looked like justis cases only they were embroidered, not tooled. i bought one and it really is a great case for the money. why don't you pm him and see if he has any more.

I'm not sure about going the embroidered route....but nothing ventured.....
 
A morning bump for the daytimers!!

A couple nice cases on the blocks so far....but still hoping to find "The One."

Denine "The One.", as there is NO Perfect CASE IMO...

Just some Great Cases out there all that Could be IMPROVED UPON IMO....

Yep.....one of those would be "The One."

More specifically, "The One" would be in really good condition, black or dark brown, smoothe or subtle embossed leather, and subtle (but complimentary) tooling, if it were a Justis, Thomas, or Murnak.

I asked the seller the modle # and he gave me this email responce>

Hello, there are 2 things on the tag. One says 'No. WIHSS' and the other says 'Style 124SL'. Thats all I know. I hope it helps you and thanks for looking.

I couldn't find that style anywhere!

I'm also looking for a case!

If I was you I would start a NEW THREAD with what you want, as there are alway guys looking for a New Case, and Selling of an old case....

Thanks, Sleuth...but it's not what I'm looking for.

If you'll read the Blue Grass thread I started last week, you'll see why I was able to buy a Harris.

Much appreciated for your efforts on the case search, though.
