I have been looking for some time for a predator pre cat 314 but I have been pretty picky. I came across this forum and was blown away by the amount of items for sale, so I figured I would try here. I am basically looking to create a new stick and my focus is around the 314 pre cat shaft. I played a bunch of games with a friends Joss that had the pre cat 314 and fell in love but he sold it to someone else due to various reasons. So I went looking and can't seem to find one in the condition I want or with the right butt. I am resorting to piecing it together.
I am not 100% knowledgeable on everything so I am going based on what I have gathered online. The Joint I am looking for would be possibly two different ones. Either 5/16x14 black collar (for a Joss) or a 5/15x18 black collar (for a Meucci). That is based off the chart I got from Predators site on the 314 2 and z 2 shafts. So I am assuming the joints didn't change? (If I am wrong please correct me!).
With all that said, my main focus is the shaft in excellent to even unused condition if I can find it. If it requires me buying the butt as well (or even additional shaft) I will if the price is right. But the only two I am currently looking for are Joss (1st choice and preferably an older one) and Meucci (Distant 2nd). My budget varies based on what I would be buying but willing to pay a decent amount for the shaft. Not interested in anything over $1k total. If any one has any or all of this I am looking for I would appreciate the info.
