I'm looking for something to put over my tip so I wont have to worry about chalk in my case, etc. A simple plastic cover would be nice but I cant find anything whatsoever. I think there was an old thread on this a while back with no results.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

Great first post. I always clean my tips with a paper towel my main case
is 6yrs. old has no chalkin it. I always give a free case when I sell cue if I advertise it as unchalked use saran wrap an rubber band.

slip on tips come in a variety of diameters,,,find one that slips on snugly and put it on your stick before putting the shaft in the case,,,works for me.....

the plastic slip on tips are 'capped', so just pop the glued on leather off and you won't forget and chalk it up and mistakenly shoot with it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:p

I've been browsing the forums for a while and it was the first insightful thing I've thought to say, obviously I'm pretty insightfull...

I have this great plastic cover for my shafts that I think I bought from Mueller Sports a couple years back. It is a thick plastic slip cover with the initials "DGW PAT PEND" on the top. Maybe you can get lucky and google it. Cheers!

Tip Up!

To all: PLEASE be very careful putting something over your tip and packing it tip first into your case. There is a chance of it coming off and getting stuck in the case. I reccomend a case that will pack tip up and or wiping the tip before you put your cue away.

Of course you could always just get a Walmart cue and unscrew the tip before storing.  :D :D

Assasin do you have any pics? Just curious what these actually look like, is there that great of a risk of them falling off and getting stuck in your case?

Yes pics please, also, saran wrap + rubberband seems like it would easily come off in the case and something like that would be damn near impossible to take out compared to a cover.

Well, I'd have to say if your shaft is thinner than 12.75 don't buy these, if they are 12.75 or thicker, the only way they'd slip off is if you didn't put them on all the way, or have a form fitted case, like a porper.

No pics, I'm too lazy tonight. Plus if I post a pic someone else will jump on tomorrow, and offer them for $2.49 a peice shipped, and I just can't have that:p They are a molded firm rubber.

Thanks,
