Or a leather envelope 2x2 type case. Nothing super expensive please. My wife just "let" me get back into league play after a 15 year hiatus.

Here’s one of my handcrafted Hustler cases.. Black and silver 2x2 with 8” and 16” pockets. Blue shaft tubes hide a chalk dirt..:) Soft shoulder pad with black suede. This one fits 30” cue butts with JP. Empty case weight is 2kg.
