Congats to Karen Corr on winning the first stop on the Joss Tour at RAXX in W. Hempsread, Long Island, NY. I think Karen is ready to move up to #1 on the WPBA Tour now. Johnnyt

Johnnyt, she has won Joss Tour events in the past.

Yes I know she has. I meant this was the first stop on their tour this year, but I see now that it's not. Johnnyt

Is this "the why can't the women beat the men" thread? Oh no it's not. My mistake. Johnnyt

just curious if this was directed at me (since i am the only person that has replied) or if it was to move the thread up - if it was, i was simply stating she has won on the Joss Tour before, nothing else was implied.

Just to move the thread up. Johnnyt

I have said many times that her and Allison should both be INVITED to the World Pool Championship. They are stronger players than 80% of the field and would have a chance to go deep in the tournament. I hope one day that it becomes a true WORLD Championship.

I think 80% might be a little steep. Here is the list of participants from last year's WPC: http://www.worldpoolchampionship.com/players_by_country.asp

As good as karen and Allison are they wouldn't beat 80% of the field. Any player from the Filipino contingent would offer them weight if they wanted to gamble, Efren has offered Allison the six before and she refused.

I still think they should be invited to the WPC or atleast allowed to try and qualify, same goes for the US Open.

All I am saying is that it should be open to the best 128 players, no matter what sex they happen to be.

I agree! Women can play for sure.
