I'm looking to get rid of a few cues. The collection is just getting a little big...if there is such a thing, haha! I've got a 2006 Paul Mottey that I just recently picked up that could use a good home.
It's got four ebony points, four veeners of maple/ebony/maple/ebony, and MOP notched diamonds into a birdseye maple nose. It's got a ebony buttsleeve with corresponding MOP notched diamonds that line up with the inlays in the points.
It's got your standard SS 5/16x14 piloted joint w/szam style ringwork above and below. The wrap is your standard white w/black speck irish linen wrap and a white derlin (not sure if spelled correctly) buttcap.
It comes with three shafts with matching ringwork and ivory ferruls.
Shaft 1: 4.0 oz and 12.4 mm it has a slight taper roll, but the ferrul never lifts
Shaft 2: 4.0 oz and 12.0 mm rolls dead straight
Shaft 3: 3.9 oz and 11.9 mm it was made by someone other than Paul, but has ringwork that matches perfectly. It also has a slight roll to it, but again, the ferrul doesn't leave the table.
The shafts have been used, however don't show too much bluing on the wood.
The butt weights 16.5 oz which puts the cue dead at 20.5 oz overall.
I'd rate the cue at about 98%. There are no nicks, dings, or finish blemishes on the butt which rolls dead straight.
I'll try to get some pics up before the end of the night. If you want to see some now, I can text them to your phone. So, just PM me if you have any questions or want to see some pics.
I'm looking to get $1600.00, but PM me an offer if you'd like.
Sorry guys, but no trades at this time.
Thanks for looking.
Will
Here's a link to the original post. It's the cue in the middle with the white wrap.
