Unless something has changed all schon cues come with a 5 16/14 piloted joint. I thought that was understood.
Joint collar would be the type of ring work, plain black collar or has a silver ring included, and not 100% sure but he probably meant tip size, and then of course you have the type of tip, does it roll straight.

The "best" Z2 shafts for Schons (IMO) are the ones that Schon themselves will install the shaft collar and insert in....Seyberts sells these, and they will actually have the small 'Schon' script on the shaft.
Of course a regular Z2 5/16 x 14 will usually fit a Schon too, however they won't have the same pilot as the Z2's that are customized by Schon.
One way to tell is to just look at the pilot and see if it is a Schon pilot or just a regular pilot.
