Hi,
CUE HAS BEEN SOLD
All white on the cue is ivory (except shaft ferrules). Custom silver ringwork on joints, forearm and buttsleeve, ivory hoppe ring at the butt end. Flat rubber bumper. 4 Ebony points with 4 flame veneers with black paper veneer between each veneer. Points are inlaid with ivory spears, and ebony butt sleeve has alternating ivory spear inlays with ivory dots. Lizard wrap is used so its got a nice seasoned feel. Very good condition I would say about 95%.
Standard 58" cue
Butt weight - 15.7 oz
Shaft 1 (played and blued) - 4.7oz
Shaft 2 (test hit) - 4.6 oz
Comes with a 5-16-14 piloted joint (Ivory). I specifically asked Tony to ensure that it can fit 3rd party shafts that are also 5-16-14 inc mezz/predator shafts. This is to add versatility to the cue, as most customs are simply restricted to the custom shafts. This helps a lot if I wanted to switch to Mezz Hybrid shafts (or other production shafts like 314s) and can still maintain that sweet hit from the ivory joint that you get from a very well made custom. So this is one very unique trait that not many Zinzola cues have as you will find many of them with his proprietary radial pin joints. This was also done as a back up in case his shafts turn out to be crap, I have an easy option to replace the shaft. But honestly, both custom shafts provided were awesome and have the nice medium stiffness that I look for. Both shafts are pretty powerful and I can get lots of spin out of them. So no need for me to change shafts at all. But if you wanted to, you could. Just ensure it fits.
Note*: this will not fit Schon shafts to be clear considering how thick their inserts are. I've so far tried with Mezz shafts and even a Tascarella shaft and it works fine. 314s should also work with the correct joint threads.
In terms of playability, this is one of the best playing cues I have ever used. The hit is sweet and it played much better compared to my previous Omen custom (Omen cues already play really good). Playability is my top priority when I look for cues.
This also comes with a rare pair of custom JPs, and they are engraved with really classic looking fonts, and also matching custom ringwork. Shafts are labeled "Shaft 1" and "Shaft 2" for easy identification.
The cue is in Singapore but I will ship to just about anywhere in the world, and we can negotiate payment and shipping terms thru email. Interested parties email me at westinchong@gmail.com
