Hi all. I have an unsigned Murrell Brunswick conversion that I'd like to trade. Turns out that I really prefer a Linen wrapped cue. It is a beautiful cue. It originally had an oil finish. When I took it as a trade I did get email confirmation from Kenny that it was one of his.
I had the cue refinished (to a glossy auto finish) by someone well respected here on the forum. I am not naming that person publicly due to the fact that there is a tiny spec under that finish that is visible. The person who did the finish offered to refinish the cue. Didn't seem to make sense at the time so I chose not to. Don't want to disparage anyone over my choice. Tried to get a pic but it didn't come out well. I will try again and PM anyone who is interested.
Anyway, the cue comes with two shafts. One is a Murrell (12.75) and has not seen much use. The other I was told is a Ned Morris (12.5). This shaft has been my main player. The collar of the Morris has been matched to the butt.
I have to get the exact weights (will be added later). The cue comes in at about 19oz with the Murrell shaft and a bit heavier wight the Morris shaft.
The point are not totally even. I understand that is common with these conversions.
The cue is in great shape, everything straight. Not a mark on it.
Looking for an interesting trade with a linen wrap. No leather please.
Please let me know what you've got.
