Really hard reaching such heights so young.

Wu Chia Ching was just stunning at age 16/17

Has he really progressed at all since then ? Has he got any room to get better ?

I personally think he has the best break bar none, seen him break in both 9ball and 10ball and he is deadly

The rest of his game is as good as many other top players but there are others who can better him in a few areas. I don't think he's as good a pure potter as Darren Appleton, Mikka Immonen and Shane Van Boening

Regardless he is one of my favourite players to watch. I just get annoyed cos most videos of him playing have asian commentary, lol

When you are top 3 players in the world if not the best player at least at one time it is kinda hard topping that! The competition these days is phenomenal.....kinda hard winning everything like some past players. So many unknowns out there that shoot holes in you it's hard to fathom.

I think that he had some issues when he decided to play under a different citizenship. This cost a few years of competitive play and is just now starting to play again. I suspect he will be back to playing at a very high level and improving, still very young.

Wu should play a few one on one big stage matches. Then he'll step into beast-hood. Just like Mika, who is a freak to have step right into the ring with Van boening without any bouts.

he almost became the first triple champion of 8-9-10 ball back in 08, but came one match short against Darren Appleton in the finals.

Someone should sponsor him to play in the US Open, he might have a good chance at winning too.

I think, like many of today's underpaid and underappreciated professional pool players, it is not his progress that has stalled but rather his "give a sh*t"...

Look for him on a WPT broadcast near you...!!

McKinneyMiner...Actually he has been progressing in other areas, such as coaching younger Chinese players. That can be very satisfying! That said, I expect to see Wu back in the top 10 pretty soon!
