Who is Wu?
Of course, everyone who follows pool knows his name, but I've never seen the World's #1 Ranked player in person.
At the U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship, 11 days from today, I will have that opportunity.
Does anyone know how Wu and Shane (World's #2) have fared against each other?

Wu had a World Title @ 16 yo.

Someone stated that he also won the World 8 Ball the same, or next year? Pretty amazing. How does a person of only 16 get to that high of a level? He must have had a great teacher from an early age, and amazing natural talent for pool.

These 2 players are among my favorite to watch, especially in high gear! Wu has a video on YouTube of a 10 pack that's pretty fun to watch, even if it looks a little robotic!

If you've seen Joe vs. The Volcano

The Big Wu!

Wu style nine ball can be interesting....
...but you gotta watch out for pattern racking

Poll for dumbest post title?

Can't wait!

Wu is a 9 Ball rack running machine. So is Shane and Shaw and Chang. If the sets were longer I think Chang would get my money.

I just watched him on You Tube playing Dennis O. in a race to 21. Dennis finally got the lead and had him 18 to 15 when Dennis played a poor safety. Chang ran out and ran the next 5 racks also. Was darn good pool playing!

There is a You Tube video of Chang running 10 racks also and he quit as the set was over. He is a beast, as is Wu.

It mostly depends on who is having a good night. I think Wu ran 5 racks and out when he won the World 9 Ball championship at a very young age.

Wu Jiaqing won the 9-Ball and 8-Ball Worldchampions in the same year (2005).
