Day 1 2014, Early AM matches

Eagle wins coin toss makes 4ball in corner on break. Has to push out. Jeremy makes the 1ball but has no shot on 2b. Plays 2B and cue ball to opposite ends. JE makes 2b corner, runs to 6b and has a tough cut on 6b to side. Makes the 6b plays safe on 7b. JJ plays safe on 7B and hooks it behind 9b. JJ looks at 8b in side, but misses. JE makes 8b but 9b is on top rail and tries a bank but misses. (JE confesses he struggled with the shot, and decided to go for it instead on trying to play safe.)
JJ 1-0. Makes 6,8 ball on break. Makes 1-3 combo to corner pocket. Hooks self on 2B and jumps 5b on side rail to make 2B in corner. Runs out.
JJ 2-0. Makes 5b on break. Runs out.
JJ 3-0. Makes 7b on break. Runs to 4b and gets hooked. Banks 4b and gets safe. JE kicks at 4b, leaves open shot. JJ misses 4B cut to corner pocket, but gets safe down rail behind 5b on rail. 4B is in the jaws of the corner pocket. JE misses Bank shot. JJ Runs out.
JJ 4-0. Makes 6b on break. Runs to 5b and has a thin cut on 5B to corner, makes it and goes 2 rails for shape on 7b. Runs out.
JJ 5-0. Makes 1,6b on break. Misses 2B cut to corner down side rail. JE makes a great 2B cut to corner, but misses a 3b bank to corner and leaves tough shot. JJ misses safe try. JE misses safe try. JE misses 4b and JJ runs out.
JJ 6-0. 6b on break. Makes 1b but looks at 2-4 combo to corner and makes it. Runs out.
JJ 7-0. 7b on break. Runs to 4B and is hooked. Can’t get safe. JE misses 4b hard cut. RO.
JJ 8-0. 6b on break, Runs to 2B and gets hooked. Plays safety. JE has to jump the 3&9 ball, good hit, but can’t get safe. JJ runs to 3B and misses a tough cut. JE runs to 8 ball can it doesn’t run far enough for shape on 9b that is near the rack spots. Cue ball is in center. Grabs his cue extension, stretches out and makes the tough cut to corner pocket.
JE 1-8. Makes 1,7b on break. Misses tough cut on 2B down side rail to corner. JJ gets safe on 2B. JE misses shot and fouls. 2b is next to 5B near side pocket. JE calls for official to watch. JJ tries carom off 2b to cut 5b in side and misses. JE makes 2b but hooks self on 3B behind 4b. Tries 2 rail bank and fouls. JJ runs to 8b and cue runs to far on 9b shape, has to cut 9b in side for the win.
