So now you have your answer. I had tried several. None of them even temped me to buy. Then came the X-Breaker. Bought it and it's great. Read my original post on page 1 of this again.

I'm not going to knock the X-Breaker, but my money's spent on the BK2 had the original, love the second rendition even more.

As for the price difference supply and demand dictate the price, the reatailer has the right to get as much as he can, the consumer has the right to pay as little as he can. So you meet in the middle somewhere.

Couple of years ago people were raving about the Sledgehammer. What's next?

Happy Breaking:cool: I'll stick with my 3 ball average on the break and be happy.

I got an x-breaker for my birthday a few weeks ago. I ordered it through Beads And Billiards and they provided very good communication every step of the way. I even emailed Richard during the DCC and he emailed me back almost right away explaining when his next shipment was going to arrive to Beads And Billiards. Both Richard and B&B are A+ in my book.

I cant see complaining about the price, all the top of the line Jump break cues and break cues are the same price. The Pred BK 1 and 2, the Jerico Stinger, the X breaker, the Sledgehammer. All same price range. From what I hear though, most people prefer the x breaker over all these.

I cannot say myself because I have not shot with one first hand but I have been thinking about purchasing one later this year. At the moment I break with a Phenolic Tip J and J and I love that. Gonna test out the xbreaker and the bk2 in Valley Forge.

Thank you for your interest.

I will be looking forward to meeting you. I am at L27 on the lower floor.
