XBreaker Modification

While Richard has created a fantastic product with the XBreaker I came up with a slight modification that gives me a longer jump cue if needed. I find I have problems using a pendulum stroke with a normal length jump cue. I have no difficulty using a dart stroke.

I can extend the length of the jump cue by adding my old Joss jump butt as shown in the images below. For even longer jumps I attach the shaft to the handle as needed.

The bottom line is I now have 3 different length jump cues as needed.

FWIW, normally, I've found that people who have problems naturally using a pendulum stroke with a normal 40" jump cue benefit with a short lesson (a jump clinic, as I like to call it). Even if they have shoulder problems. I recommend Tom Simpson and Robin Dodson.

The main problem I have is with the length of a 40" jump cue and the pendulum stroke. I am basically holding the cue with 2 fingers and my thumb on the end of the cue. With a 42" and above cue I don't have nearly the prob. Of course most of this has been self taught and recently viewing Tom Simpson's videos on the Stinger website.

I am fine using a dart stroke.

When I get the opportunity I will take a jump clinic.
