Yang Won the Super Cup again for $20,000!

I was with some friends at Yang's pool hall once, he was not there. It was located on I think the 12th floor.

My friend showed me the table Yang usually practised on, and the pockets were about 1.3 ball wide.

It was about two years ago but I am pretty sure that was the measurement. May be some members from Taiwan can confirm it?

Thank you.

That's on tight ass equipment too, and it's not the first time Yang ran 7 racks and out for the win on live tv.

We have a lot of pool games on live tv in Taiwan. I remember an exciting game a few years ago, Yang vs Hsia, also a race to 7 on live tv.
Yang won the lag and after 6 racks the score was 6-0 Yang ahead. Yang made a mistake and Hsia capitalized on Yang's mistake and played like his nickname assassin.
The final score was 7-6 and Hsia won. What a thrill! I am
a fan of Yang, but at that moment I rooted for Hsia to come back and win.

He is a package machine.

Does anybody know what year it is that he ran out the set on Archer from
7-4 to win 11-7 in the WPC? I might buy the dvd set from matchroom but i would like to know what year.

I remember that match very well. Yang ran 6 racks, and in the 7th he faced a tough 8/9 cluster...he went 4 rails with the CB and ran into the cluster exactly the right way, but a tad too hard and got hooked on the 8....tried to masse off the rail, missed, and saw the table 3 more times on safeties while Hsia gunned him down from 0-6.

Btw, I really miss Keelung's nightmarket...the seafood there is insane!

Here is a picture showing all the foreign players with the "Power In" girls.

Power In is the title sponsor, it is a brand of energy drink.

The player who finishes last received $1600 USD.
