Subsonic: While we wait for Grady to tell us a story, maybe you can amuse us with a story...like how you managed to get that fly to pose on your cat's nose? :)

My Avitar

I would much rather hear a story from Grady's youth than about my avitar. But, as long as we are waiting:

First of all, it's not my cat, and not even my fly. :( I didn't even take the pic. I wish I could claim the credit, but I cannot. However there is a little story that goes with that pic.

After seeing that pic I decided to check it out for myself. I have a very tame cat and tried to place my finger on his nose to c if his eyes would cross. Well, just as a human, when my finger got very close, he would pull back so his eyes could focus and c what what going on. Not being satisfied, I continued to do it until after several weeks, he just gave up and layed still. My finger hovered just at his nose, but the eyes did not cross. Bewildered, I wiggeled my finger slightly causing him to try to c what was happening. Lo and behold his eyes went crossed as he tried to focus in on my finger. LOL. It was hollarious. :D I hate to say that I torture my pet cat, but I put my finger on his nose all the time now just to c the eyes go crossed. :o :D My Bad :D Now I'll probably get hate mail from the animal lovers.

Now u know "the rest of the story".

Cute story, Charlie. Following your example, I tried unsuccessfully to get my two cat's eyes to cross by wiggling my finger in front of their noses. Apparently, they're too smart for my dumb tricks. :p

I tried that with my little black and white cat (Eight Ball). She bit my finger!

If a little cat bite your finger, u should not put that finger in the kittey "no more" ( jus cause it not safe in there )..
