Well this week I snagged another Whitten so now I got a pair, 2 x 4, and 3 x 6. think i did o.k. as the Whitten Case Company just did a price increase, and both of mine were snagged after e-bay auction ended with no bidders.

Both are Smooth Black Leather, and I am as happy as can be with my deals. Basic Black Smooth leather with no embossing of FAUX Skins.

Whitten Cases are just art, and I personally think they are the best.

WAY freaking heavy! I would say almost if not heavier than an Instroke.

I stick to Porpers...I am a flyweight.

Question for you Bruce...What do you think of Jack Justis cases? I actually own one already, and have my opinions, I was just looking for some additional feedback.

Thanks!

While I agree Whitten's are nice I'll Stick with Justis as the "real Art" when it comes to cue cases and my pick for the best. I do have a very soft spot for the Whitten 1x2 and the Instroke 3x7, but having owned them all Justis is the best.

Stop Case Design Theft !!!!!!

jimbo i cant believe you would support anyone who ever stole a design.

sorry jimbo but i couldnt resist.

As I said I have never seen a Justice Case, they look to me a little FLASH like a Tricked Out low Rider Show Car.

The first Whitten I saw was Basic Black, a FREE BEE that was part of a Gina Cue Deal. To me it was like a $1,500.00 Custom Tailored Tuxedo, and I guess it was love at first sight.

If you want FANCY, and Whitten his web-page show some real Fancy Cases. Also there is the Guy from PHX (On Cue Cases) who make some fancy stuff. Love my Pair, and will keep them until I find something I like better.

If you have your HEART SET on a Whitten, and are not FUSSY about Color, Dan's Son runs the Whitten E-bay Sales, and put up a case almost every Sunday for a Week. I snagged on from him, and one from a deal who had no bites on e-bay for my 3 x 6. Think I got them both for about 75% of RETAIL and to me that was a DEAL....

Someone mentioned Spare Cases???

Fellini, It's George, Ron Thomas. Beauty in Function, Beauty in Form. Simplicity at its Best! Enjoy!

fter owning many cases i must agree that jack justis cases are by far the best all around cases in my opinion......not only for function but for looks.....i had a 2x4 that i let a person who i thought was a friend talk me out of....and i now have a 1x2 black leather with basic tooling that houses my dayton hustler.....its a great package for me and i really like the styling of justis cases after the old flowers cases......just my thoughts, juston

Does anyone know if a Whitten will fit a 59" inch cue with no problem. I imagine it would but don't know for sure.

Thanks,
Koop

I see why shorty finds the whitten cases heavy. But if a normal height/weight person finds a introke or whitten heavy you msut be lazy. All you have to do it carry it from point a to point b. I remember seeing those hockey bags with wheels soon there will be pool cases with wheels.

Almost weekly there is a NEW WHITTEN on E-bay, now it is a 3 x 6. Start bidding and maybe U will be lucky.

LikeI said I got both of mine for about 25% off list,:D and they were NEW... One from Whitten, on from a Shop in Northwest that was dumping inventory.

Porpers ...

Shorty ... I have a Porpers 4 x 8, and it got pretty heavy lugging around when I was in Vegas. Had to buy special shoulder pad.

I also have a $30 Crystal leisure soft case, and I like it. Has real good pockets on it for the money (small pocket with 2 areas, and large pocket
big enough for jump butt). I only carry 1 stick and a jump stick in it, but
could get another stick in it -- and much lighter than that 4 x 8.

Deadstroke32 ... go to http://www.CrystalLeisure.com

They are a wholesaler of billiard supplies in Englwood, Co..
If you look under our products and cue cases, you will see lots of cases, but the one I have is not pictured on the website.

It is a soft case, medium blue in color, with a wizard with staff embrodiered in the middle of the small pocket, and with a long big pocket on the bottom. Plus all the pull tabs for the zippers have a wizard on them. You will probably have to email them to get a picture of it. I believe the one I have is part of a new series of case they came out with (wizard series).

I bought mine locally from Shooters billiards for $30 and had never seen the pockets on a soft case that usually only come on the good expensive case before. I bought it primarily just for the pockets it has.

When you email them, tell them you want pictures of the Wizard series
of cue cases, and that you also want to know the closest retailer to you
that sells their products.

Their email is game@amusemp.com
