You know what would be cool....a bright candy apple green "6" ball.

So in the Super Pro TV edition they changed the purple 4 to bright pink, the brick colored 7 to a brighter brown. The 6 is a pretty dark green, it would be sweet to change that to candy apple green! Then they could brighten the blue up a little as well, then no one would ever get confused again lol. :p

Well, I shouldnt get too far ahead of my self, too many bright colors cause epileptic seizures in some people, now we wouldn't want that on ESPN now would we...:D

They could also design it with a big grin on it so that the 6-ball looks like this... :D

Haha, that would be great! It would make me start cracking up everytime I saw it.

original colors for me

I might be in the minority, but I prefer the original colors of
the pool balls.

Nah, I like em too, but it would just be something interesting to see.

I agree the colors could use a little brightening...Maybe I'm getting old at the age of 30?! LOL

The original colors are fine, except on television. The 4, 6, 7 & 8 can be difficult to tell apart. Maybe I need High def 65" Plasma!

Speaking of hard to tell apart... Remember those horrible Elephant Beautiful Balls?

Yeah, I thought those were awfully hard to tell apart as well.

Colors

If ESPN would get there head out of there ass and figure a better lighting scheme than flooding the entire playing area and washing out the color of the balls. Normal balls would look better on TV, and work one of the cameras from football into the game for better camera angles than pool would be a little better to watch on TV. Just my little Rant

Those elephant balls were hideous, why did those ever gain in popularity?

Just as a novelty, I would love to see semi-transparent colored balls like giant marbles. Beam laser lights and have felt that looks crazy under black light :P ...obviously for recreation only instead of TV... Probably tough to find a material that could withstand chipping and breakage.

I saw a weird effect watching an IPT 8 ball video, the balls were so polished and there were so many different light sources... that the balls reflecting all those light sources made the balls look as if they had glitter/sparkles. It'd be distracting but it was kinda neat anyway. It has girl appeal.
