Young pool player in need

Getting Better
Silver Member
I know that this is a long shot, but there is a young player that is just starting out at my local pool room in need of a really cheap break stick. He has about 20-25 bucks to spend. Dont care if it is beat to death as long as it breaks decent. If you can help it would be awesome. Thanks.

old mali

I have my first cue still. Its ans old mali. Thick dense shaft. Needs a tip but i would think he can use that as a break cue. Cue is from tge 80s sometime.

If you want to get the cue that is being offered, that has no tip,

I am willing to do this,
I have a small billiards pro shop, and if the person you purchase the cue from, want to ship the cue to me, I will install a tip of your choice and I will install the tip and give you the tip for Free,

I will also, cover the cost of shipping it to your student.

Get with me either way, if you go with the Mali, or if that is not the cue for him, contact me and I have about 5 cues that I am willing to do for your student and I will still honor the re-tipping for free.

Hope this helps, I always support the next generation of pool players and want them to start off on the right foot, hopefully they can 'pay it forward' to others as they get older.

PS. I will also do a shaft cleaning, re-seal, burnish and polish and re-wax the shaft and tip for you. Even if the cue is used, we will make it look and feel like glass, like new, actually when i get down they slide smoother and slicker than new!!!

That's very nice of you Mike. It's nice to see people going out of their way to help out somebody. I don't see that very much, let alone with a stranger.

I feel if there is something that one pool player can do for

another, within reason, to better OUR world and community of players, its up to the individual to start the cycle, from there hopefully, others will continue the process.

Today, I spent 6 hours with Scott Lee, a well known certified instructor and exhibitionist in Pool Trick shots,

Scott went way out of his way to spend all this time helping me out with how to instruct others and also helped me out with my own mechanics.
Anyway, Scott just met me about 2 weeks ago and we struck up a friendship and he know that I have gone through some difficult times, both physically and financially, and without asking he donated his time to me, and gave this up during his own vacation time,
So, I want to send a very large--THANK YOU-- to scott lee,

AND IF ANYONE NEEDS ANY INSTRUCTION ON THERE POOL GAME, WHATEVER LEVEL OF A POOL PLAYER YOU ARE, PLEASE CONTACT SCOTT AND LET HIM HELP YOU OUT. He is a great communicator and very willing to provide beneficial advice, no matter how fast or slow you are at picking up on new and proper pool ideas and mechanics.
he is an az'er and goes by the scottlee 'posting'

So, with that said, I feel I should continue to do things for other pool players that might be going through tough or tight times, and if I can 'PAY IT FORWARD' and help another pool player or fellow Az'er, I am more than willing to.

Take care and all the best to all the AZERs'

I'd also be willing to put a tip on free of charge. I think we were all at this junction at one time. Hell I might even have a cue in the basement I'd just send you. Lmk....

A break cue? Most pool rooms and bars have a whole rack full of these, free to use.

/just sayin'
