There are no dumb questions, just dumb mistakes because someone was to embarrassed to ask question.
We live in a world were people take little responsibility for doing dumb things.
Recently AZ Game & Fish put up signs warning people entering property in Desert.
Your in Dornan Desert, beware of Rattlesnakes, Scorpions, GilaMonsters, Coyotes, etc.
Why because someone got bit, sued, because no warning,
Common sense is no longer common.

There has been more than few times, after the smoke cleared, I thought the above was a very stupid question on my part. I should have just said, “Nah, Ima practice a while and go eat dinner.”

Common sense was never common. It's just that the people who lacked it in times past just straight up died. Nowadays, thanks to improved communication, transportation, and medical care, those sorts of people are spared death instead.
Still some die because not everyone lives, or you are in Desert of AZ trying to come into USA illegally, and get taken out by dehydration, snake bit, or other event.
Pima & Pinal Counties Morgues have many bodies from this type of events, no one is claiming. No one know who there people were.
Not sure why it is a dumb question. For a beginner could be an ok question.
I'm in the boat that says, there are no dumb questions, just dumb mistakes because questions were not asked.

I have never been able to learn one. I just shoot, balls go in for some reason, most of the time.
